Coating Operator $20.00/hr | Weekly Pay | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM | Full-Time We are seeking a Coating Operator to join our team. This position is responsible for inspecting, preparing, and coating customer parts using vacuum chamber equipment to apply specified aluminum coatings in accordance with customer requirements and company policies. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, quality-focused, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment serving the aerospace, defense, and energy industries. Key Responsibilities Inspect parts prior to coating to ensure compliance with customer specificationsHang and prepare parts for coating operationsOperate and fill vacuum chambers to apply aluminum coatings per required specificationsReview job cards and follow written and verbal instructions in EnglishInspect masked/taped parts prior to coatingCoat test pieces and submit to Lab and Quality Department for inspectionMeasure dimensional tolerances and coating thickness after base and final coating applicationInspect coated parts to ensure uniform coverage and adherence to quality standardsComplete and maintain all required documentation (routers, job records, inspection reports) accuratelyReport acceptance or rejection of coated partsAssist with daily maintenance and quarterly cleaning of vacuum chambersMaintain a clean and organized work areaAdhere to all company safety rules and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)Work collaboratively in a dynamic, team-oriented environmentPerform other duties as assigned Qualifications High School Diploma, Secondary Certificate, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experienceStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality standardsAbility to follow established job instructions with minimal supervisionSkilled in measuring and using test equipment as prescribedBasic computer proficiency (Microsoft Word and Excel)Strong communication skillsSelf-motivated with strong problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work independently and demonstrate initiative Physical Requirements Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance requiredAbility to sit, stand, reach, stoop, or kneel for extended periodsAbility to regularly lift parts weighing 10 lbs. or more Schedule & Overtime Expectations All positions must be able to work overtime and Saturday mornings from 6:00 AM–12:00 PM when necessary. We value our team's time off and hope to keep Saturday work to a minimum, but it is required from time to time. We will NEVER work Sundays or Holidays.
