Schedule

First shift at the Stevens location. Hours are 5:30 pm – 2:30 pm with some mandatory overtime and Saturdays. Generally Monday through Friday with frequent Saturdays and overtime as required. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities

• Operate smokehouse equipment and maintain production standards.
• Lift over 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Push and pull levered weight carts between 25 lbs and 1,500 lbs.
• Bend, kneel, squat, reach, and grasp routinely throughout the shift.
• Safely use smokehouse cleaning chemicals and appropriate PPE to clean smokehouse ovens.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and hazard-free work area.
• Ensure consistent and reliable attendance.
• Follow health, safety, and basic hygiene rules.
• Complete required smokehouse documentation paperwork and minimize rework/inedible product.
• Work with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Stand for long periods (10–12 hours).
• Work in extreme environments, including refrigerated and excessive heat (between 18°F and 100°F).
