About the role

GTI is a contract manufacturing partner supporting customers in renewable energy, power generation, infrastructure, and industrial systems. We fabricate custom designed, purpose-built enclosures and skids for our customers and perform mechanical and electrical integration in-house, delivering a true turn-key product to our customers. Our scope spans Engineering, prototype builds, through full production, requiring teams that can move fast, adapt, and execute with precision.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, set up, and operate CNC machines (e.g., milling, routing, punching) according to work orders and engineering drawings.
  • Set up and operate press brake equipment for bending and forming sheet/plate metal to required dimensions and angles.
  • Load and align tooling, fixtures, and program parts based on engineering specs.
  • Inspect finished parts for quality, dimensional accuracy, and adherence to tolerances using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery; report issues to maintenance/lead personnel.
  • Follow established safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
  • Collaborate with production team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.
  • Document machine run times, material usage, and production data accurately.

Requirements

  • Required Prior experience operating CNC machines and/or press brakes in a manufacturing or fabrication setting.
  • Basic understanding of machine setup, tooling changes, and part measurement.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and standard work instructions.
  • Comfortable using precision measuring tools.
  • Commitment to safety standards and quality outcomes.
  • Capacity to stand for extended periods and lift up to ~50 lbs.

Qualifications

  • Formal technical training or certification in machining, fabrication, or related fields.
  • Experience with industrial metal fabrication processes (sheet/plate steel).
  • Familiarity with CAD/CAM or CNC programming fundamentals.

Pay

$18 - $32 an hour
