About the role
Global Power Components is a privately held, financially sound, growing manufacturer of UL steel fuel tanks, trailers, large generator enclosures and modular metal enclosures for housing fully equipped electrical distribution and control equipment. Located in Milwaukee, WI (onsite 5-days/week). Hire type: Temp-to-Hire (3+ months).
Responsibilities
- Monitor the operation of the machine
- Load programs from job folders
- Load steel on to carts of machine
- Change out lenses
- Cleaning of the machine and area surrounding the machine
- Maintenance of the machine
Requirements
- Computer literate
- Manufacturing experience
- Able to read blueprints
- Able to troubleshoot and problem solve
- Must be highly motivated
- Able to communicate and work well with others
- Must pass competency test, and pre-employment physical including drug screen
Qualifications
- Detail oriented team member
- Willing to work a minimum of 45 hours or more per week
- Core fit into the team that can help make a positive difference
Schedule
- 1st Shift: 5am - 1:30pm CT (Monday to Friday) – eligible for OT
- 2nd Shift: 4pm – 12:30am CT (Monday to Friday) – eligible for OT
