Machine Operator

Glen-Gery Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Brickworks Limited, is one of the nation’s largest brick manufacturers with eight manufacturing facilities across the U.S. and Canada. About the role

This position is located at the Iberia, OH manufacturing facility and supports the operations of a fast-paced plant. The Machine Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining industrial machinery while adhering to safety guidelines and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor industrial machinery to ensure efficient functionality.
• Perform quality control checks and make necessary machine adjustments.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintain manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, and vacuum systems.
• Monitor machine settings and provide support for plant operations.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Machine Operator in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting experience.
• General knowledge of maintenance fields: mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electronic systems.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to rotate shifts.
