Machine Operator

The Role

We are looking for a full-time skilled and self-driven Machine Operator to operate, set up, and maintain CNC machines.

What You’ll Do

• Operate & maintain machines, loading stock, managing fluids, & chip removal
• Perform setups & tooling changes to ensure continuous part conformance
• Operate CNC equipment such as mills, lathes, & band saws as needed
• Read & interpret engineering drawings to produce quality parts to specification
• Inspect finished parts using metrology tools to ensure quality standards
• Complete production and quality documentation for all jobs
• Troubleshoot machine issues & assist other operators with technical challenges
• Help train team members on Swiss lathe operation and setup
• Collaborate effectively with team members across departments
• Perform other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

• A self-motivated, problem-solver with a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficient in basic math, English reading/writing, using computers & tech tools

What it Takes

• Wear PPE as required
• Physically capable of bending, standing, lifting (up to 50 lbs)
• Strong hand-eye coordination and ability to perform fine motor tasks
• Able to hear and respond to sounds in a noisy environment
• 12 years of experience operating & setting up Swiss lathe equipment is a plus
• CNC machines (Horizontal Mill, Vertical Mill, Dual Spindle Lathe) exp. is a plus
• Familiarity with G&M code programming is a plus
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Able to manage multiple tasks and work under limited supervision
