Major Responsibilities
- Operate machinery according to established guidelines and safety protocols
- Operate FlexiStar, 400, 1000, Gary Line, Mecon, Flat Laser, Plasma, Novatec & Re-shear, small rotary
- Monitor equipment performance and report any issues to team lead and supervisors
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery
- Complete schedule for day and note any down time or other issues preventing you from completing schedule
- Check material for any defects
- Let supervisor and quality department know when defects are found
- Accurately read and use a tape measure to 1/32”
