Machine Operator
About the role
Controls or operates machinery or equipment to assist with forging, and other steps along a production line. May be expected to handle heavy machinery.
Responsibilities
- Operate complex equipment and machines, adjusting diverse variables to achieve the best possible outcomes in terms of quality and productivity.
- Generate solutions to simple and recurring inefficiencies.
- Carry out operational tasks by following established processes, adjusting multiple settings or parameters to meet performance standards.
- Carry out changeover of one or more equipment under detailed guidance.
- Troubleshoot basic technical or operational problems by applying previously defined solutions.
- Carry out TPM checks and activities under detailed guidance.
- Carry out relatively simple testing and quality assurance tasks.
- Hold self and others accountable to meet commitments, holding self to high standards and consistently honoring policies, procedures, and work requirements.
- Scrupulously ensure all work is correct.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
