About the role
Operate a variety of Vacuum Former and Trim Press/Robot equipment to produce quality products that meet customer requirements.
Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 20 lbs., and twist for up to 10 hours
- Reading, writing, communication, and math skills adequate for following written instructions and completing required documentation
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with co-workers
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- High school diploma or GED preferred; automotive experience is preferred

- Operate HMI (Human Machine Interface) Screen
- Understand Vac & Trim machine functions
- Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
- Problem-solving knowledge and ability
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing Principles
Responsibilities
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including Safety, Quality, and EMS
- Follow Standardized Work Instructions
- Fully participate in and support the Corvac Quality System
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area and contribute to overall plant orderliness
- Perform machine adjustments and calibrations as set by the process tech; advise lead if outside of parameters
- Responsible for the operation of the machine
- Fill out all required paperwork, including production, scrap, and downtime logs
- Complete daily and monthly inventory
- Train others as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Schedule
1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM (40 hours per week, overtime as needed).
