About the Role
The Machine Operator I is responsible for producing quality product while running continuous motion packaging, filling, and palletizing equipment efficiently and safely.
What Your Day Will Look Like
- Prepare quality check sheets as required
- Operate and troubleshoot basic equipment efficiently
- Perform and/or assist in product and package change over
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment in accordance with ISO Good Manufacturing Practices standards
- Perform appropriate duties as assigned by management
What You Need To Succeed
- Minimum age 18 years old
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies
- Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines
- Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets
- Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology
- Less than high school education; or up to 1 month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, or flexible schedule as required
- Ability to work with all functional team members
- Effective communication skills and problem-solving skills
- Ability to climb 10 – 12 ft ladder
Schedule
Monday – Friday; 10pm – 6:30am, weekends and overtime as needed.

- Position required to wear safety-toed shoes when operating powered industrial equipment, working in areas where such equipment is in use, fleet maintenance, working with palletized product, using hand trucks/dollies to deliver product, cooler services, and similar tasks
