Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Set up and operate production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
- Select positions and secure automatic or semi-automatic machines using computer-controlled equipment.
- Controls and adjusts machine settings to complete routine tasks according to specifications.
- Performs quality control checks and troubleshooting as needed.
- Records and maintains accurate data in production logs and electronic systems.
- Maintains and troubleshoots machines as necessary.
- Ensures adherence to safety protocols and complies with all regulations.
- Collaborates with team members to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Trains new operators on proper machine operation and maintenance.
Skills
- Strong mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Ability to navigate and operate applicable machines.
- Proven history of high-level measuring experience.
- Accurate input of data into production logs and electronic systems.
- Familiarity with quality control systems/software for recording and analyzing inspection data.
- Understanding and navigating electronic manuals or documentation.
Physical Requirements
- Manipulate small parts and operate controls with precision.
- Handle tools, adjust machine settings, and place/remove workpieces.
- Lift, position, or secure heavy workpieces, tools, or machine components.
- Stand for long periods of time.
- Sustain focus and perform tasks consistently throughout a shift.
