Position Summary

The Machine Operator II is a key position in the Company and will support and contribute to the company goals of profitability, return on investment, inventory turnover, and accident prevention.

Essential Functions Of The Job
- Focus, communicate, encourage and contribute to Safety in all aspects of the job and all company meetings
- Set up, adjust and operate drill presses, presses, press brakes or roller machines to produce identical parts as specified by blueprints
- Maintain production quantity, efficiency and quality on produced parts
- Examine parts for quality compliance using blueprints, calipers, micrometers, tapes and high level math
- Perform preventative maintenance on machines
- Locate and move parts as needed using a walk behind lift
- Ability to train others
- Perform all other duties assigned by Supervisor
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities (KSA’s)
- Capable of performing standard measurements using geometric tools (Tape Measure, Protractor, etc.)
- High level math and reading skills needed
- Ability to understand and follow detailed instructions and make minor decisions involving some judgment in carrying out instructions
- Minimum dexterity required for use of hand and power tools
- Able to operate under pressure
- Able to lift, push or pull up to 50 pounds alone and 100 pounds with assistance
- Able to have good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Able to have a valid Drivers License
Education And Experience
- High School diploma or GED required
- 1 year experience as a Machine Operator I required
