Machine Operator

About the role

Bridgewood Cabinetry is a family-owned company with over 45 years of experience manufacturing wood furniture and cabinets. The mission is to create beautiful custom cabinetry that complements the homes of our customers.

Shift

Day Shift: Monday - Friday from 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (Overtime as required after hours/Saturdays, as necessary.)

Starting Pay

$16.00–$18.00 per hour, based on experience, skills, and qualifications.

Job Description

• Operate mill, router, saw, and gluing machines
• Organize product parts per the job order
• Retrieve, stack, and prepare lumber and wood materials for production
• Verify measurements and ensure products meet quality specifications
• Set up and make adjustments to machinery as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Work closely with teammates to meet daily production goals while maintaining Bridgewood's quality standards

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Frequent use of hands and arms to operate machinery and handle materials
• Regular lifting up to 25 pounds
• Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds or more (anything over 50lbs would require a team lift)
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach throughout the workday
