Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor high-speed filling/bottling/packing machinery to ensure consistent and accurate output
- Set up / shut down equipment, perform changeovers, PM’s, and CIP/clean equipment
- Inspect machine output and product quality throughout production
- Identify and address potential mechanical or product issues before they escalate
- Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance to prevent downtime
- Work closely with the maintenance and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues quickly
- Maintain accurate production and downtime records
- Adhere to all safety, quality, and sanitation standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Suggest and implement improvements to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Required: High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to train
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Highly organized and detail oriented
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to climb steep stairs multiple times a day
- Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, climb, and reach to perform essential job functions
- Frequent standing and walking in production and warehouse environments with exposure to temperature fluctuations, noise, and machinery
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early morning, nights, and weekends
