Ascentec is hiring Machine Operators to join our team in Dallas, Oregon. This is an excellent "foot in the door" opportunity for someone with strong mechanical aptitude/skills and attention to detail. We like to grow our talent from within — come get started with us and carve your own career path!
Shifts available
- Swing Shift: Monday through Thursday, 4 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.
- Weekend Day Shift: Friday through Sunday, 6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Both shifts come with an industry-leading shift differential. This position is on site (not remote/not hybrid) at our Dallas, Oregon facility and not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- CNC setup and operation
- Teach tools, load programs and set/adjust work/tool offsets accordingly
- Read prints and inspect parts for conformance, typically +/- .005 tolerance
- Check parts using basic measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and depth gauges
Qualifications
- Trade school and/or at least one year of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Reliable and dependable
- Self-starter/self-motivated
- Team player with professional demeanor and respectful to people in all situations
- Quality oriented
Pay and benefits
- $17 to $20 per hour DOE
