About the role
Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a Machine Operator to work out of its state‑of‑the‑art facility in Sidney, NY.
Responsibilities
- Transport Work‑In‑Progress (W.I.P.) materials, supplies, and product as necessary between work flow centers (WFC).
- Retrieve, use, and maintain all tools, racks, fixtures, and gauges required to perform the necessary tasks within the WFC.
- Check produced parts against inspection standards for the operations being completed.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on machines to the extent of ability.
- Maintain the order and cleanliness of the WFC.
Skills and qualifications
- Experience operating machinery in a production manufacturing environment.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to read/interpret diagrams, blueprints, and schematic drawings.
- Willingness to work any required shift.
- High school diploma or equivalency required.
Preferred requirements
- Formal training in operation of CNC production equipment.
- 2–5 years of on‑the‑job production machine operation.
Schedule
Full‑time position; must be willing to work any shift.
