Machine Operator

About the role

Ensure raw material has passed ISO quality-controlled inspection before sing. Place material in the machine to produce parts of a finished product or a complete product. Verify that the material being used is correct for the machine and the item being produced.

Responsibilities

• Understand and comply with all company safety policies and procedures and utilize all necessary safety equipment.
• Understand and comply with the company’s Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2008).
• Help meet daily production goals to manufacture product.
• Be aware of machine capabilities for production of goods.
• Ensure machine is calibrated to perform the task at hand.
• Ensure proper directions are followed to operate machine.
• Ensure that work area is clean and neat.
• Help assure overall cleanliness and safety of work area.
• Be prepared to work overtime as needed.
• Perform all other activities as requested by management.

Requirements

• Experience in various machine operations.
• High school diploma/GED.
• Good mechanical aptitude.

Working Conditions

• Standing for 8-hour shifts.
• Heavy lifting up to 60 pounds.

Pay

$17.00/hr and up based on experience.
