Job Summary

Machine Operator

Key Responsibilities

• Manufacture molded glass polyester sheets.
• Select and install machine components, such as dies, spacers, shims and/or stops according to specifications.
• Trim/file and de-flash molded sheet edges and perform in process measuring and material inspections.
• Set up tooling, load programs and set machine parameters to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Clean dies and molds, using scrapers, brushes, scotch pads or air hoses.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or GED with prior hands on, vocational or job-related course work/training, or any similar combination of education and experience.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing industry with mixing, batching or compounding equipment is preferred.
