Machine Operator - 2nd shift

Duties And Responsibilities

• Works in an assigned group to meet daily production requirements.
• Contributes to team efforts to meet Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity goals.
• Maintains zero lost time accidents in the assigned group and throughout the plant.
• Maintains good housekeeping practices in the assigned group and throughout the facility.

Key Knowledge And Skills

• Reads, evaluates, and responds to product specifications, blueprints, and drawings.
• Easily performs normal math calculations.
• Familiar with industrial machinery.
• Strong general mechanical skills.
• Knowledgeable in assembly, machining, drawing reading, quality control, and safety.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to walk and stand throughout an eight-hour shift.
• Able to consistently lift 25 lbs. from floor or table position to chest high using proper lifting technique.
• Able to repetitively use arms, hands, and fingers in the manipulation of parts.
• Demonstrates good hand/eye coordination.
• Demonstrates good manual dexterity.

Experience

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Three years' experience preferred but will consider other applicants.
