Machine Operator - 2nd shift 3pm-11:30pm; Mon – Fri (Urgent Need)

About the role

Location: Mebane, North Carolina. Duration: 12 months. Schedule: 2nd shift, 3:00 pm–11:30 pm, Monday–Friday. Pay rate: $21/hour. Interview process: in person.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine production functions including filling, utility operations, packing, packaging, assembling, labeling, and inspecting under general supervision.
• Maintain accurate records and logs in accordance with FDA regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and ISO 9000 standards.
• Work effectively in a team setting, supporting team goals and objectives.
• Make effective decisions relative to position requirements.
• Follow instructions and work within routine, standard practices, making decisions as required.
• Operate under direct supervision following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Develop skills in basic tasks, techniques, and procedures within one skill area/process/method.
• Apply basic knowledge and skills to complete routine tasks consisting of prescribed steps.
• Rotate into different tasks and responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of previous machine operator experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend specifications written in English.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Effective communication skills at a level co-workers and Team Lead/Supervisor can understand.
• Ability to work flexible and/or extended hours and report to work on a regular, punctual basis.
• Ability to get along with people and work in a team environment.
• Willingness to rotate into different tasks and responsibilities.
