Machine Operator - 2nd shift 3pm-11:30pm; Mon - Fri (Urgent Need)

About the role

Machine Operator position for a 12-month duration in Mebane, North Carolina. The role involves performing routine production functions under general supervision in an FDA/GMP/ISO9000 regulated environment.

Schedule

2nd shift, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Must be able to work flexible and/or extended hours and report to work on a regular, punctual basis.

Pay

$21 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine production functions including filling, utility operations, packing, packaging, assembling, labeling, and inspecting under general supervision.
• Maintain accurate records and logs in accordance with FDA (Food and Drug Administration), GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), and ISO9000 (International Organization for Standardization) standards.
• Work effectively in a team setting, supporting team goals and objectives.
• Make effective decisions relative to position requirements.
• Follow instructions and work within routine, standard practices, making decisions as required.
• Work under direct supervision, following standard operating procedures.
• Develop skills in basic tasks, techniques, and procedures within one skill area/process/method.
• Apply basic knowledge and skills to complete routine tasks consisting of prescribed steps.
• Willingness to rotate into different tasks and responsibilities.

Requirements

• 1 to 2 years previous Machine Operator experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Effective communication skills at a level co-workers and Team Lead/Supervisor can understand.
• Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend specifications written in English and perform basic math calculations.
• Ability to get along with people and work in a team environment.
• Must be able to work flexible and/or extended hours and report to work on a regular, punctual basis.
