Position Description
Title: Machine Operator
Department: Production
Immediate Supervisor: Plant Supervisory Staff
Status: Hourly Non-Exempt
Essential Accountabilities
- Operates paper mailer equipment
- Ensures product is manufactured and completed as per technical specifications
- Maintains equipment and set-up parameters
- Monitors and adjusts controls to ensure products comply with production standards
- Records quality and production metrics
- Maintains accurate inventory and effective control of materials and supplies
- Coaches and mentors assistants
- Performs quality control checks
- Uses PPE as required
- Maintains good housekeeping
Essential Skills and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience
- No travel required
- Ability to work in varying temperatures above 95 degrees Fahrenheit
- Able to repeatedly lift to a maximum of 50 lbs
- Basic computer skills, AS400, Microsoft Office
- Basic math skills
