Machine Maintenance Technician III (Second Shift)
About the role
This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which includes Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. It involves Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.
Responsibilities
- Safely work within an industrial environment
- Complete all machine tool service requirements and needs
- Schedule and perform factory required preventative maintenance
- Maintain and repair machine tools and other equipment
- Maintain all machine service records
- Operate as the area Maintenance SME with production
- Successfully pass all training as required
Qualifications
- Passion for our mission: Millions of people living and working in space!
- Experience in multi-skilled maintenance, minimum of 2 disciplines
- Trouble shoot and repair equipment such as mills, lathes, lasers, robots, ovens, dip tanks, and various assembly manufacturing equipment
- Familiar reading electrical schematics and diagrams
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in use of precision hand tools
- Familiar with use of personal computers and CNC machines
- Self-motivated and able to prioritize projects to meet completion dates
- Able to earn trust, maintain positive, and professional relationships
- Contribute to a culture of inclusion
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
