Machine Maintenance Technician

About the role

Perform repairs and maintenance on a variety of machine tools with minimal supervision. Troubleshoot and repair complex hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Work from blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to complete maintenance tasks accurately. Identify and request parts or components necessary to complete repairs efficiently.

• Install, relocate, level, and align new or existing machinery using precision inspection equipment.
• Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize unplanned downtime.
• Fill out accurate Maintenance Work Requests and records of service performed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area while identifying potential hazards.
• Collaborate with other maintenance and repair staff to complete larger projects.
• Support emergency call-ins, shift changes, and overtime as needed.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in machine maintenance or industrial equipment repair
• Proficiency in interpreting complex mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics
• Skilled in using micrometers, indicators, electronic levels, and other precision measurement tools
• Highly proficient with hand tools and power tools required for industrial maintenance

Nice to Have

• Basic understanding of electrical circuits and schematics
• Experience within a manufacturing, defense, or aerospace setting
• Experience with machine tooling
