MACHINE HELPER - 2nd shift

Responsibilities

• Aid machine operators in setting up and operating manufacturing equipment.
• Prepare and supply raw materials to machines as required for production runs.
• Maintain accurate records of production activities and machine status.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and quality standards.
• Monitor machine performance and report any irregularities or malfunctions to maintenance personnel.
• Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance tasks on machinery to ensure optimal operation.
• Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
• Help with loading and unloading materials and finished products as needed.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to learn machine operation procedures.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Effective communication skills to work well within a team environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with durable goods manufacturing processes is beneficial.
• Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting is advantageous.
• Certification in workplace safety or equipment operation is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret production schedules and technical instructions is helpful.
