About the role
The Machine Builder will be responsible for performing assembly of machined and/or purchased components under the guidance of a Team Leader. May work from machine assembly blueprints using hand and power tools. Must be mechanically inclined.
Responsibilities
- Builds components pertinent to the functions of the machines
- Knowledge of measuring skills and accurately read precision measurements
- Intermediate understanding of blueprints and schematics
- Ability to comprehend job instructions
- Must possess basic hand tools
- Ability to wire junction boxes
- 5+ years of machine building experience
- Knowledge of welding, fabrication
- Working knowledge of blueprints, schematics
- Ability to work independently without supervision on simple assemblies
