Responsibilities
- Assemble equipment and machinery per mechanical and assembly drawings
- Communicate build progress, changes, and issues with the Machine Build Lead
- Follow ISO quality and safety standards throughout the build process
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
- Prepare materials for secondary processes including deburring and finishing
- Safely operate equipment such as mills, lathes, drill presses, grinders, saws, and presses
- Complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision while meeting quality and timing expectations
Qualifications
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints
- Strong mechanical aptitude with a focus on safety and quality
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including bending, kneeling, and climbing
- Willingness to obtain Forklift, Aerial Platform, Overhead Crane, and Lockout/Tagout certifications
- Must provide own hand tools and toolbox
Education
- A high school diploma or equivalent required
- Vocational or technical training preferred
