Machine Builder

Responsibilities

• Assemble equipment and machinery per mechanical and assembly drawings
• Communicate build progress, changes, and issues with the Machine Build Lead
• Follow ISO quality and safety standards throughout the build process
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
• Prepare materials for secondary processes including deburring and finishing
• Safely operate equipment such as mills, lathes, drill presses, grinders, saws, and presses
• Complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision while meeting quality and timing expectations

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints
• Strong mechanical aptitude with a focus on safety and quality
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including bending, kneeling, and climbing
• Willingness to obtain Forklift, Aerial Platform, Overhead Crane, and Lockout/Tagout certifications
• Must provide own hand tools and toolbox

Education

• A high school diploma or equivalent required
• Vocational or technical training preferred
