Machine Assistant

Role Overview

Join Amcor as a Coater or Laminator Assistant and play a key role in producing high-quality laminated products that protect what’s important. You’ll assist the operator adhesive and extrusion laminators or presses, ensure safety and quality standards, and contribute to a team focused on collaboration and continuous improvement.

Schedule

Nights- Monday – Thursday, 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay: $21/hour + $1.00/hour night shift premium
• Overtime: 1.5x pay for hours over 40 per week
• 401(k): Dollar-for-dollar match up to 8%

What You’ll Do

• Set up and assist the operator on laminators to meet quality and productivity goals
• Troubleshoot lamination, web handling, and equipment issues
• Inspect adhesion quality, identify defects, and ensure customer specifications are met
• Follow all safety and chemical handling procedures
• Complete required documentation and reports
• Assist with training team members
• Communicate with supervisors, maintenance, and co-workers
• Maintain housekeeping standards and support process improvements

What We Want From You

• Preferred Qualifications: Mechanical aptitude, Ability to distinguish minor imperfections and color accuracy, Computer proficiency and willingness to learn new systems, Forklift certification (or ability to obtain), Commitment to teamwork, safety, and quality

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Stand for long periods (steel-toed shoes required)
• Perform climbing, crouching, and reaching
