Machine Assembly Specialist

About the role

Vantage Elevation, LLC is North America’s leading independent manufacturer of elevator components and systems. We are currently seeking a full-time Machine Assembler to join our team.

Requirements

• Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures (TIG, MMA etc.)
• Must be mechanically inclined
• Experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, calipers etc.)
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
• Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.)
• Professional Certification (e.g. an AWS welding certificate) will be a plus

Duties and Responsibilities

• Build hardware kits and assemblies per work orders.
• Step in to assist other departments during a typical work week.
• Able to lift and move parts as needed.
• Display average coordination on a continuous basis while performing job tasks.
• Able to perform repetitive tasks.
• Be open to change and consistent improvement of processes.
• Maintain an organized work area.
• Other duties as required.

Position Details

• Full time
• New starting rate of $20.00--$27.00 plus additional increases!
• 1st shift hours vary between 7:00 am – 5:30 pm CST (8, 9 or 10 hour shifts)
