Your Job

As an Experienced Machine Specialist, you'll support the Battery Cable Lug (BCL) production cell by maintaining tooling, performing die changeovers, troubleshooting equipment, and driving continuous improvement efforts. You'll partner with production teams to maximize uptime, ensure quality, and support efficient operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Hours

Monday – Thursday 6:00am – 4:30pm

What You Will Do

• Own and support the performance of the Battery Cable Lug (BCL) production cell to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations
• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and sharpen stamping dies to maximize tooling performance and product quality
• Complete tooling changeovers and set up equipment to support production of various parts and customer requirements
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities that enhance safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance
• Diagnose and repair tooling issues to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency
• Utilize tool room equipment, including precision grinding equipment, to support tooling maintenance and repair activities
• Partner closely with production teams to quickly resolve equipment and tooling challenges and maintain production flow
• Perform press setups, die installations, die removals, and troubleshooting activities on the production floor as needed
• Provide production support and operate manufacturing equipment when required to meet business needs
• Expand your skills through cross-training opportunities across tooling and production operations
• Demonstrate flexibility by supporting overtime needs when required

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment
• Technical training, certification, or hands-on experience in Tool & Die, Mold Making, Precision Machining, or a related skilled trade
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment, tooling, and production issues in a manufacturing setting
• Demonstrated organizational and time-management skills with experience prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities
• Experience utilizing computers for documentation, reviewing technical drawings or prints, and maintaining records

Experience That Will Put You Ahead

• Experience with progressive stamping dies
• Experience with automatic transfer dies
• Experience with high-speed assembly equipment
• Experience with vision and in-line measurement systems
