About the role

The position of Police Officer is available in the City of Macedonia, Ohio. This is a civil service competitive examination position without prior experience or academy necessary. Paid academy training is available for successful candidates after appointment.

Responsibilities

• Enforce laws and regulations

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Must be 21 years of age at the time of application
• Valid Ohio drivers' license

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years prior and continuous full-time police officer experience
• Current peace officer certification or academy enrollment
• Associate's degree in Criminal Justice
• Prior military service
