What You'll Do
- Lead and manage the day-to-day MAC Move Management Program across multiple campuses and locations.
- Supervise, coach, and develop a team of three move management professionals.
- Manage all weekly BAU move activity and project-related relocations.
- Optimize move sequencing, scheduling, and resource allocation to support operational and project demands.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for move-related issues and customer concerns.
- Partner closely with Occupancy Planning, client stakeholders, Project Teams, Facilities Management, and service providers to develop and execute move plans.
- Provide move management leadership for major relocations, building occupancy initiatives, renovations, restacks, and departmental moves.
- Ensure destination spaces are ready for occupancy and originating spaces are vacated and turned over in accordance with site requirements.
- Coordinate project-based laboratory relocations, including required decontamination and decommissioning activities.
- Work with EHS, project teams, laboratory stakeholders, and specialized vendors to support safe and compliant laboratory transitions.
- Evaluate, schedule, and manage moving vendors and other service providers supporting move activities.
- Facilitate move planning meetings and communicate schedules, milestones, risks, and status updates to stakeholders.
- Provide post-move hyper-care support and ensure timely resolution of outstanding issues.
- Maintain move schedules, documentation, metrics, and reporting.
- Ensure all activities are performed in accordance with company policies, site procedures, and safety requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements that enhance efficiency, service delivery, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent 8-10 years of experience in move management, facilities management, workplace services, project management, or related disciplines.
- Demonstrated experience managing large-scale relocations, occupancy initiatives, and project-related moves.
- Experience coordinating activities across multiple sites, campuses, or complex facility environments.
- Experience managing vendors, contractors, and cross-functional stakeholder groups.
- Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer relationship management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Experience supporting laboratory, research, healthcare, life sciences, manufacturing, or other regulated environments is preferred.
