Mac Engineer

Support the engineering and operation of the Mac platform

• Support provisioning, configuration, software deployment, compliance, remediation, and lifecycle management.
• Engineer and modernize Mac management workflows in Jamf Pro.
• Write, maintain, and improve scripts and code used to support Mac platform management.
• Participate in peer reviews and team-based engineering practices.

Technical Requirements

• Strong experience with macOS endpoint engineering in an enterprise environment.
• Hands-on experience with Jamf Pro or Jamf Cloud.
• Proficiency in scripting and comfort reading and writing code.
• Ability to participate in peer reviews and clearly explain technical implementation decisions.
• Working knowledge of GitHub-based workflows including branching, pull requests, and code reviews.
• Comfort using AI-assisted engineering tools such as Copilot, Claude, or similar tools with sound technical judgment.
• Understanding of enterprise endpoint security concepts including hardening, compliance, patching, and secure configuration management.
• Experience with Terraform to manage infrastructure or configuration as code is a strong plus.
• Jamf certifications and familiarity with monitoring, telemetry, or operational observability concepts are a plus.
