About the role
Talentify.io sources and verifies full-time Medical Assistant - Certified (MA-C) positions at Harborview Medical Center, a Level I Trauma and verified burn center in Seattle, Washington. Positions are available in the Rheumatology, Dermatology, and Occupational Medicine clinics.
Responsibilities
- Room patients, take vital signs, and reconcile records
- Prepare and clean exam rooms
- Submit medication prior authorizations
- Recognize symptoms of common medical illnesses and accurately report to provider
- Act as a liaison between patient, patient's family and providers
- Assist provider with procedures and medical exams
- Perform point of care testing and report abnormal laboratory values
- Auxiliary patient transport as required
Requirements
- Completion of a Medical Assistant course accredited by CAAHEP or ABHES or equivalent
- Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified or achieve this designation within 6 months of hire
- Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider CPR card
Qualifications
Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration.

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
Full-time, 100% FTE (40 hours per week) Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm Day Shift.
