MA/LPN/RN- Urgent Care Flex Float

About the role

This is a float position and will require availability to ALL clinics in the Treasure Valley. This position comes with a set schedule. Home clinic will be the Overland Clinic.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a provider and/or physician, which could include casting, bracing, and injections.
  • Provide clinical triage/communication as defined by protocol or per provider instructions.
  • Prepare treatment rooms for examination of patients, including sterilization, cleaning, and checks on medical equipment.
  • Prepare basic laboratory tests on-premises and prepare laboratory specimens.
  • Perform phlebotomy involved with the proper collection, labeling, processing, and distribution of specimens for laboratory testing from patients of all ages.
  • Aid in managing patient flow, paperwork, and customer service.
  • Aid in identifying methods of improving patient care.
  • Aid in managing details of patients, schedules, and referrals.
  • Aid in emergency situations.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding patient and business functions of the organization, i.e., HIPAA.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Completion of a nationally accredited MA program (EMT certification/experience and Military medical training and experience will be considered).
  • LPNs and RNs must have a current license from the Idaho Board of Nursing.
  • Venipuncture skills.
  • Previous clinical experience preferred.
  • Customer service-oriented attitude/behavior.
  • Computer proficiency. Ability to use applicable software as required to perform the essential functions of the job.
  • Recommended vaccines to include annual Influenza, Hep B, TDaP, MMR, Varicella, and TB.

Qualifications
