MA-Counseling Internship
About the role
We are looking for Master's-level students who are currently enrolled in or have completed relevant coursework in a Master's Program in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Counseling, Art Therapy, or other approved and related degree.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to creating safe places for the area's most vulnerable children.
- Engage in clinical assessment and therapeutic interventions.
- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Requirements
- Ability to be CPR certified.
- Excellent clinical assessment skills.
- Strong clinical/therapeutic intervention skills.
- Current enrollment or recent completion of relevant coursework in a Master's Program in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Counseling, Art Therapy, or another approved and related degree.
Qualifications
- Master's-level education in a relevant field.
Skills
- CPR certification (preferred).
- Excellent clinical assessment skills.
- Strong clinical/therapeutic intervention skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
