MA Boise OB/GYN Clinic Full-Time

Position Summary & Highlights

The Boise OB/GYN Clinic, part of Saint Alphonsus Health System, seeks a Medical Assistant to support an established physician and work with other providers and clinical staff. Applicants must meet the minimum requirements below.

What You Will Do

• Support an established physician and other providers and clinical staff
• Perform primary MA duties
• Assist with blood draws
• Help RNs with patient calls
• Auxiliary tasks such as colposcopies, Endometrial biopsies, IUD placements/removals, and Nexplanon placements/removals
• Work in a strong team-oriented environment
• Adaptability and strong communication skills are essential

Work Schedule

36 hours/week, 4 - 9 hour shifts, Monday - Friday, rotating day off, around 7:00am - 5:30pm. Up to 40 hours/week may be possible with approval from management.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required at hire
• MA certification required within 90 days of hire from one of the approved agencies
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification required at hire

Highest Requirements

• New Graduates: MA certificate of completion required from an accredited program or school, or complete a 100-hour MA externship or 6 months MA experience in lieu of externship hours even with MA certification
• Medical Assistant with Experience: 1 year of MA experience OR current MA Certification OR obtain or renew certification within 90 days from hire from approved credentialing agencies listed above
