Responsibilities

- Execute on the sales strategy, including communicating goals, tracking performance, and striving to constantly improve outcomes.
- Support the execution of a multi-year sales strategy in partnership with the leadership team, including contributing to creation of short-term and long-term strategic objectives.
- Quickly test new ideas, using our innovation practices, combining data and insight to learn and innovate rapidly.
- Coach employees and provide regular feedback to emphasize role priorities, including sales, forecast accuracy, problem-solving skills, and innovation.
- Manage a sales funnel and maintain a sustainable sales cycle to achieve quarterly targets.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to influence the consultant process.
- Utilize resources efficiently to manage account territory and close deals at scale.
- Measure success through key metrics including quota attainment, close rates, and pipeline velocity.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of quota-carrying leadership experience in the merchant services industry.
- Prior sales experience with accounting, ERP, or other financial management software is preferred.
- Experience selling merchant services across various industries with a strategic positioning against customer challenges.
- Familiarity with merchant service industry standards as it relates to rates, cost analysis, and risk management.
- Deep understanding of Account Receivable and Account Payable processes related to money movement.
- Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving skills with a deep understanding of sales levers, metrics, performance standards and sales methodology.
- Proven success in building high performing teams that consistently deliver and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- An unwavering positive attitude, strong drive for results, and the ability to deal with ambiguity.
- Bachelor's degree or MBA preferred.
