Primary Responsibilities
- Analyze current configuration and provide a solution to liaison that supports certification.
- Understand current manufacturing processes and determine if other practices can be used.
- Proficient in understanding current manufacturing (ASPS) processes.
- Take part in liaison MFT providing M&P information to support the decision making for liaison dispositions.
- Review dispositions for accuracy.
- Take part of M&P community:
- Support when required in reviewing drawing for release providing M&P direction.
- Create and/or review process documents.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Engineering (Aero, Civil, Mechanical) with a strong curriculum emphasis on structural design and analysis and mechanics of materials.
- Master’s Degree in an Engineering discipline preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience dealing with manufacturing processes.
- Experience in drawing reviews and approvals.
- Frequently uses widely known technical principles, theories, and concepts to solve technical problems.
- Capable of working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment both independently and collectively.
- Technical Systems Proficiency: Experience in CATIA and Enovia.
- Familiar with engineering design specifications.
- Knowledgeable in manufacturing processes.

- Daily able to see and read computer screen and other electronic equipment with screens, able to read documents, reports and engineering drawings.
- Daily able to hear to participate in conversations in person and via teleconference or phone and to hear sounds on production floor including safety warnings or alarms.
- Daily able to speak in conversations and meetings, deliver information and participate in communications.
- Daily able to operate most office and personal electronic equipment and some tools including production tools such as hydraulic lifts.
- Daily able to carry documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs.
- Daily able to lift documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs.
- Daily able to push and pull small office furniture and some equipment and tools.
- Daily able to sit for long periods of time in meetings, working on computer.
- Daily able to squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items stored on low shelving.
- Daily able to stand for discussions in offices or on production floor.
- Daily able to walk through office and production areas including uneven surfaces.
