M&A & Transformation Consulting Manager
About nepf
nepf is a boutique management consulting firm specializing in M&A integration, AI and digital transformation, enterprise change management, and operating model redesign. We have successfully led integration programs for multi-billion-dollar acquisitions, developed enterprise change management strategies, and designed AI-enabled operating models.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a Consulting Manager to support M&A-initiated business transformation engagements. This role involves the entire M&A lifecycle, from pre-close integration planning to post-merger stabilization and value capture. The ideal candidate will be able to balance detailed project planning with strategic leadership and change management.
What You'll Do
- Support M&A integration programs end-to-end, from pre-close planning through post-merger stabilization
- Accountable for outcomes, not just activities
- Build strong relationships with deal teams, integration management offices, functional integration teams, and executive sponsors
- Develop and execute change management and communications strategies for cultural integration, organizational redesign, and workforce transitions
- Drive change that actually lands, addressing blockers to adoption
- Develop and mentor junior team members, providing direct, actionable feedback
- Contribute to business development efforts, identifying opportunities, shaping proposals, and bringing nepf's AI-enabled offerings to market
What We're Looking For
- 6+ years of client-facing consulting experience, with meaningful exposure to M&A integration engagements
- Experience managing complex, cross-functional integration workstreams at large organizations (5,000+ employees)
- Solid change management experience guiding organizations through real transitions driven by M&A
- Experience working in global or multi-geography M&A environments with cross-border integration complexity
- A clear, confident communicator with strong writing and presentation skills
- Deep functional knowledge in at least one corporate back-office domain (HR, Finance, IT, Supply Chain) in the context of M&A integration
- Experience working alongside or within an Integration Management Office (IMO)
- AI fluency and genuine curiosity about how AI is changing consulting delivery
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, ideally in a relevant field such as business, psychology, or a related discipline
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams, with the ability to leverage these tools for data analysis and client presentations
Compensation & Benefits
