M&A, PE / VC Advisory Consultants (TMT experience)

Who you are

• Current or former bankers, consultants, PE investors, VCs, family office, enterprise business generalists with strong experience (and opinions) about what makes great models (Excel) and presentations (PowerPoint)
• Consider yourself an analytical storyteller with great ability to present information in clear, structured, creative ways to best convey the message
• Deep attention to detail, care about quality, and understand the technical elements of Excel, PowerPoint, and document creation
• 3+ years of professional experience in management consulting (McKinsey, Bain, EY, Gartner, BCG, etc.), investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, and more
• Experience in the TMT space and passionate about emerging technologies and content
• Very opinionated about what great looks like
• Experienced giving structured design feedback and critiques
• Strategic thinking around communication, visual storytelling, and making content digestible
• Ability to work a minimum of 15 hrs / week (async)

What you'll do

• Crafting world class slides (natively in PowerPoint) from scratch
• Reviewing existing slides, critiquing them, and figuring out how to improve them
• Crafting creative briefs to generate new presentations/documents with AI models, and critiquing them across various iterations of design

Our process

• Apply to the opportunity (<10 min)
• Complete a design critique assessment (<45 min): this is built to gauge your critical design thinking and ability to have clear opinions and a high bar
• A successful assessment results in an offer to join an active project, and to kick off your onboarding process (MFA, SOW, background check) as well as your project onboarding
• You become an official member of the community! You'll gain access to events, other creative technologists, and other perks! You'll also become eligible for other paid projects!

Pay

• All projects with TasteMakers are Remote, Work from Anywhere, and paid hourly via Independent Contractor
• We hire globally and pay competitive rates in USD
• This role caps at $150/hr for US based consultants
