M&A Finance Integration Senior

About the role
The M&A Finance Integration Senior will play a critical role in driving the growth and success of Infrastructure Products Group (IPG) by providing leadership during the integration of acquired businesses. This role requires a forward-thinking professional with exceptional project management and leadership acumen, who can effectively guide the acquired business through the complex transition to IPG processes and financial system integrations. The individual works closely with accounting, IT, management, and internal controls and reports to the IPG M&A Finance Integration Senior Manager.
This is a hybrid position located in Dunwoody, GA.
Responsibilities
- Actively participate in the due diligence process, providing financial management support to the M&A team and identifying potential issues prior to deal closure.
- Partner with workstream leaders to develop target state operating models and manage integration plans with clear activities, milestones, and owners.
- Work cross-functionally to integrate acquired entities and assets efficiently with minimal disruption while achieving deal objectives.
- Partner with the acquisition team on the financial systems strategy, identifying integration requirements, account & product mappings, and assist in the integration timeline into the IPG EPM tool (consolidation, planning, and reporting) and other outside systems (e.g., Payroll, Concur).
- Serve as a liaison to CRH Treasury to assist with the migration of bank accounts to CRH preferred facilities, calling out potential issues and ensuring all requirements are addressed.
- Proactively identify risks and issues, bringing the appropriate resources together, driving the design and implementation of solutions, decision-making, and risk mitigation (Sarbanes Oxley, Internal Controls, etc.).
- Analyze and document technical accounting issues that arise with acquisitions and divestments.
- Support the business with ad hoc technical accounting research.
- Support the business with ad hoc accounting and finance projects and tasks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
- At least 4+ years of relevant accounting experience.
- Public Accounting experience and/or exposure to technical accounting research and documentation required.
- Exposure to Mergers and Acquisitions experience a plus.
- Strong communicator with a history of synthesizing/communicating complex issues in a clear and concise manner.
- SAP and/or similar ERP system knowledge; EPM or similar consolidation system experience preferred.
- Continuous improvement mindset with a demonstrated history of implementing business process changes and driving innovation.
- Ability to adapt, quick-learner, strong project management, and execution skills.
