About the Firm

A leading global law firm with offices worldwide is seeking a mid-level M&A Associate to join its Chicago Corporate practice. The firm is recognized for complex cross-border deals and a collaborative culture.

Role Overview

The associate will advise private equity funds, venture capital funds, corporate strategics, and high-growth companies on:

• Mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures
• Private equity transactions
• Equity/debt financings and restructurings
• Corporate governance matters

Qualifications

• 4+ years of M&A/private equity experience at a top firm
• JD from an accredited law school
• Illinois Bar admission (or ability to qualify)
• Excellent drafting, communication, and project management skills

Compensation

• Chicago market Cravath-scale salary ($260,000 – $390,000)
• Performance bonuses and full benefits package
