Corporate M&A Associate - Chicago

Responsibilities

• Significant experience in corporate transactions with an emphasis on public and private M&A, including private equity.
• A strong working knowledge of acquisition agreements and the other documentation used in complex M&A and private equity transactions.
• Proficiency in drafting acquisition agreements and other related documents.
• Experience leading due diligence teams.
• General corporate and corporate governance experience.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team across practice areas.
• Willingness to train junior associates.

Requirements

• Admitted to the Illinois Bar or eligible for admission to the Illinois Bar.

Qualifications

Strong academic credentials and writing skills are essential.

Skills

Well-versed in the mechanics of leading an M&A transaction from inception to closing.

Pay

The Expected Pay Range For This Position Is $250,000 - $420,000 per year. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

Schedule

Full time employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
