About the role
The M&A Analyst will support the execution of the company’s growth plans in the energy sector by coordinating and managing M&A processes and ensuring effective collaboration across teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate bidding processes for the acquisition of energy projects, ensuring robust analysis, documentation, and strategic alignment.
- Manage and oversee transaction execution when bids are awarded, ensuring smooth progress across all workstreams.
- Drive the negotiation of purchase agreements in close collaboration with the Legal department.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Ferrovial’s Finance team, supporting and coordinating all Due Diligence activities.
- Monitor and supervise compliance with contractual conditions throughout the entire closing process.
- Ensure effective information flow among finance, analytics, development, legal, and technical teams during M&A transaction execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, or Engineering (with further education in finance).
- Strong knowledge of project finance is essential.
- Proven experience in M&A operations within the infrastructure sector, particularly with complex financing structures.
- Fluency in English (near-native or very high level).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in similar roles.
