Responsibilities
- Evaluation and treatment planning for lymphedema
- Providing evidence-based interventions
- Educating patients and caregivers on long-term self-management
- Documenting clearly
- Collaborating with the care team to keep outcomes on track
Requirements
- OT degree and current licensure (or eligibility) in Louisiana
- Lymphedema training/certification (or strong commitment to obtain)
- Excellent patient communication and clinical reasoning
- Organized documentation and time management

Day-to-Day
You’ll start by reviewing your schedule and setting up the space so each visit feels focused and seamless. Throughout the day, you’ll guide patients through their sessions, track progress in real time, and adjust the plan as their needs evolve. Between appointments, you’ll connect with teammates to coordinate next steps and keep communication crisp.
