LVN - Weekend Shifts

About the Role

We are seeking a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide skilled nursing care in home settings under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Responsibilities

• Deliver quality patient care per physician orders
• Assess patient conditions and document activities
• Update care plans and educate patients and families on disease management and self-care
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to regulations
• Implement infection control measures
• Recognize and respond to patient needs and changes
• Ensure safety and apply infection control practices

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted LPN/LVN license in the practice state
• Current CPR certification
• TB skin test within the last 12 months
• Reliable transportation
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Preferred Skills and Abilities

• Six months of recent clinical nursing experience, especially in home health
• Strong attention to detail, time management, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds, reposition patients, and perform various mobility tasks
• Ability to function in diverse environments and respond effectively to emergencies
