Travel LVN opportunities are primarily based in California, with current needs at sites such as Shasta, Placer, San Luis Obispo, and Fresno.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient assessment, care planning, and implementation of individualized treatment programs under RN supervision.
• Administer medications, obtain diagnostic tests, and carry out medical plans according to practitioner orders and protocols.
• Provide clinical care and respond to health emergencies using established procedures, safety techniques, and standard precautions.
• Document nursing encounters and communicate patient information to healthcare providers and staff.
• Support daily clinical operations, including controlled substance counts and assisting with procedures as needed.

Requirements

• Hold an active California nursing license in good standing.
• Have at least three years of nursing experience; correctional experience is preferred but not required.
• Be willing and able to travel 100% of the time.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Possess one (1) or more years of clinic experience.
• Maintain current licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) within the states of practice.
• Hold current CPR certification.
• Be available to work only if residing in the United States.

Pay

Pay is based on experience. LVN positions range from $40‑45 per hour.

Schedule

Assignments can vary by location, but most shifts are 12‑hour days or nights, with some 8‑hour options and weekend rotations depending on the site.
