LVN - Part Time

Position Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established care plans and nursing standards
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor, assess, and document resident conditions, reporting changes promptly to the Registered Nurse or physician
• Assist with resident admissions, discharges, and transfers
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Promote a safe, clean, and supportive environment for residents, visitors, and staff
• Deliver compassionate, respectful care while maintaining resident dignity and independence

Qualifications

• Current, active California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license
• CPR/BLS certification
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a skilled nursing or post-acute care setting preferred
• Strong clinical, organizational, and assessment skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team
