LVN or GVN W/Permit

About the Role

The LVN assists the physician and mid-level practitioners in providing quality care as delegated. This individual is also cross-trained to assist in clerical tasks and phlebotomy.

Requirements

• Holds a current Texas permit or license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
• Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association upon hire or transfer to department.
• Minimum of six months experience working as an LVN preferred; one year of experience in an ambulatory setting preferred.
• Bilingual abilities desirable but not mandatory.

Working Conditions

• Ability to perform heavy lifting.
• Sustained standing and walking.
• Work under stress.
• Varied work hours and shifts including weekends and holidays.
• May encounter exposure to infectious diseases.
